Community Intervention
Implementing interventions in communities targeted at changing lives.
At its core, the HIV pandemic is aided by social and economic inequalities and access to health information and basic health services.
Over the years through our work in communities, we have grown an understanding of how these factors affect the HIV response in underserved communities. This has shaped our community intervention efforts to incorporate COVID-19, Nutrition, Economic Empowerment, Mental Health and Non-communicable diseases into our HIV response.
We also work with key actors across different sectors to develop and deploy innovative solutions to improve the health and productivity of challenged communities across Nigeria. We implement community intervention programmes and projects targeting key at-risk populations through CSOs in communities. We also advise and support member organisations to implement community intervention projects and programmes with key CSOs in communities.
NANI Project
The NANI Project stands for NiBUCAA Ambassadors NYSC Initiative. Some of our actions include the sensitisation and re-education of NYSC members on the HIV epidemic
Integrated HIV Project
We work with key actors across different sectors to develop and deploy innovative solution that is focused on improving health and productivity of communities across Nigeria.
